Creality Hi Filament Sensor Wire
If you’re into 3D printing at all, you’re generally someone who likes to tinker with things. I own 2 Creality Hi printers with CFS – they’re great printers, and pump out great quality prints regularly.
But one of them began having problems in that it failed printing because it thought there was a filament jam. I was getting an error:
FR 0122: Spool holder filament in use.
Well I wasn’t using the spool holder – I was using CFS. After some of my own troubleshooting and reaching out to Creality support, I had a broken cable – the filament sensor wire.

The part number for this wire is 3103090102. I was ultimately told the wire costs only $.28. Great news, right?! But to ship it will cost a whopping $30. No thank you.
So I did more research. This is nothing more than a Micro JST GH 3Pin 1.25mm cable. I bought some from Amazon at this link. At the time of this writing this set of 20 cables comes in at less than $10. I did have to swap the red and yellow cables on one end to match how the original cable was pinned, but it is a perfect fit, and does the job!
I’m writing this so that anyone else searching for this part number will hopefully come across this post and find a much more cost effective way to get a replacement cable. Good luck!
